“My Buddy” Bear

This is a place where you can get extra help with anything that is causing you to struggle with the pattern.

Probably the most challenging part of this pattern is the eyes. So I would like to provide some help. If you have any other specific concerns or problems, please contact me using the address at the top of my Home page.

Here is the template for the eyes. I know I put it in with the pattern, but thought it might help to have it here, as well.

For the best result when putting the eyes together, glue the white “sparkle” onto the pupil first, let dry, then glue the pupil onto the blue teardrop. Finally, when everything is dry, put enough glue to securely attach the teardrop, but avoid the upper edges where you will need to embroider the eyelashes. If there is glue on the felt, it will keep you from being able to put a needle through it.

As you may have noticed, I used embroidery thread for the eyelashes, but worsted (#4) weight yarn for the nose. With as big a nose as this is, it will cover the muzzle better, and look more solid, I think.
